15 months and October-y goodness

I love this picture, so I think it’s time for a blaooowwwg post.

During the past month, Sophie has learned to walk. We spent half an hour the other night sitting on the floor while she walked back and forth between us, so excited and proud (that’s all of us, by the way). Since that evening, she has really taken off. She walked through the grocery store holding my hand a couple of days ago – slaying customers everywhere with the adorableness.

Sophie is obsessed with babies right now. I made her a small photo album of her own, but her favorite thing is to look at the scrapbook Meg made me for my birthday of Sophie’s first year. She also likes to look at our photos on Flickr, the images on the camera, the picture of Sophie on my cellphone, and so on. This actually makes it difficult to use my computer, my cell phone, or the camera, due to the immediate yelling about BAH-BEES.

We are also enjoying the fall. We have been apple picking, celebrated my birthday and Meg’s, played in the leaves, seen the first teensy snow of the year (it was mostly hail, actually, but hey) and next we will carve a pumpkin and take Eleanor and Sophie trick-or-treating. I will leave you with some photos from my birthday trip to the apple orchard with Kelly, Ryan, Shawn, Meg, and the little girls. Shawn took some awesome pictures, and they’re so AUTUMNAL and NICE that I’m going to picspam you. Yes, Sophie’s grandparents, you have been picspammed! I bet you didn’t know that was a thing!

Eleanor is the best birthday companion ever. She was SO EXCITED that it was my birthday.

We even kind of match!

Cutest picture ever.

She didn't WANT to wear her hat!

She's pretty super sweet though, that Sophiepants.

OK, and one more from the previous photo shoot:

Consider yourselves spammed.

I can only imagine that having a baby is like having a puppy… to the nth degree. That being said, and being a new puppy owner – I kiss, snuggle, wrestle, tickle and enjoy Chewy every moment that I can. So, Sarah, how the heck do you get anything done? With a baby that seriously cute, I think I’d spend all my time being all up in her business and soaking up the cuteness! Kudos to super-cute Sophiepants!

OK, if that’s picspamming, I’ll take it any day! Love the photos!
